On September 14, 2019 a west Charlotte, NC shooting investigation caused a bad accident on Interstate 77.
I-77 northbound between Lasalle and Brookshire was closed around 4am due to a shooting investigation which resulted in a four vehicle accident. The mentioned section of Interstate 77 will remain closed until the investigation is complete.
One person showed up at Atrium University with a serious gunshot wound.
