On July 23, 2020 a homicide occurred on McGregor Drive Charlotte, NC. Shots were fired at a house on the mentioned street.
A victim was found shot, the victim was pronounced deceased on scene. While securing the scene, officers located a suspect seated within several feet of a firearm.
They were able to deescalate the situation and take the suspect into custody. Officers are not looking for any additional suspects at this time.
Tykari Brown was shot and killed on West Boulevard Charlotte, NC on July 21, 2020.
Katie Eckerd was killed on the same day on West Sugar Creek in a shooting.
