Just as things were getting back to normal during the Coronavirus pandemic, a homicide investigation is underway in Charlotte, NC.
On Saturday, May 23, 2020, an assault with a deadly weapon was reported on Hovis Road. One victim had been shot after a verbal altercation took place between two people.
Upon arrival, officers were notified that the victim had been transported from the scene in a private vehicle to the hospital. The victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
