Olivia Dennis, 28, is a teacher at Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC. Olivia was arrested on May 20, 2024 accused of sexual activity with a student.
On May 20, 2024, a school resource officer at Olympic High School was notified of a potential inappropriate relationship between an 18-year-old male student and a female teacher at the school.
Detectives with the Sexual Assault Unit responded to the school to conduct the investigation.

Detectives interviewed the suspect identified as Olivia at the school and subsequently placed her under arrest. She was transported to police headquarters in uptown for further interviews. Olivia was then arrested charged with three counts of sexual activity with a student by a teacher and has been transferred into the custody of the Mecklenburg County Jail.
A teacher at South Meck High School was arrested accused of having sex with a student
None of the alleged sexual acts are believed to have occurred on school property.
The school released the following message:
“Good afternoon Olympic High School families, this is Principal Jones reaching out with an important message. You may have heard about an alleged inappropriate relationship involving a staff member and a student. The school administration is aware, and we are fully cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation.”
School records state that Olivia was suspended with pay on the day of her arrest. Olivia was hired by the school in November 2022.
