Harriet Cromartie, 63, was killed in a double shooting in north Charlotte on Friday night.
Harriet is a grandmother loved by many. Harriet’s granddaughter was also shot.
The two were in a car on Wynbrook Way Drive when someone shot both of them. Harriet died and her granddaughter was rushed to the hospital, but survived.
