GAS STATION MURDER SUSPECT ARRESTED

Charlotte Homicide detectives have charged 27-year-old Michael Patrick (Left) with the murder of Kareem McLeod, 22, (Right).

It all started because Micheal thought Kareem was looking at him funny.

The homicide occurred on October 19, 2018 at the 7-11 store on Clanton Road Charlotte, NC. Micheal perceived that Kareem looked at him with disrespect at the gas station, Micheal is alleged to of then shot the victim.

Police were called after Kareem was shot several times in the stomach, within the 7-11 parking lot.

Medic transported Kareem to the hospital, but he didn’t make it, as he was pronounced deceased.

During the investigation detectives identified Micheal as a suspect in this case and obtained a warrant for his arrest and requested assistance from the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team in locating him.

Earlier this morning, VCAT detectives located and arrested Micheal.

Micheal is charged with 2nd degree Murder.
