43-year-old Devonne Smith was shot and killed in Charlotte, NC on January 8, 2020.
Devonne is Charlotte’s first murder of the year 2020.
The murder occurred on Feldbank Drive at 3:08 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
Patrol officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon 911 call. Upon arrival, officers located Devonne inside of a home with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene by medic.
Another male victim was located in the home with a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital. At this time, the relationship between the two victims are unknown.
