Quandeel Taylor, 24, was arrested in Charlotte, NC on January 28, 2020 charged with murdering his baby son Peyton Taylor. Baby Peyton was just 5 months old.
On January 14, 2020, Peyton was admitted to Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC with signs of abusive head trauma.
The Crimes Against Children Unit was notified and began conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the injury. On January 17, 2020, detectives received information from medical professionals that the injury to the baby was not survivable.
On January 22, 2020, the infant succumbed to his injuries. Quandeel was identified as a suspect, and was arrested on January 28, 2020. Quandeel is charged with murder.
