Antonio Cureton, 24, was arrested for the wrongful death of his son Amor Cureton, 2. The child was killed on Reagan Drive Charlotte, NC on August 15, 2020.
Amor gained access to his father’s unsecured firearm and discharged it, fatally injuring himself. In addition to the firearm recovered, a second firearm was located in the possession of Antonio.
Antonio was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a stolen firearm and failure to secure a firearm to protect a minor.
