The rapper DMX died on April 9, 2021 at the age of 50. His real name was Earl Simmons. DMX died at White Plains Hospital in New York surrounded by his loving family. DMX has been hospitalized since April 2, 2021.
DMX had a drug overdose and was rushed to the hospital. He eventually lost oxygen to his brain and had a heart attack. He had little brain function for days and suffered other internal bodily damage like organ failure. DMX was placed on life support and was in a vegetative state.
The condition also placed DMX in catastrophic cardiac arrest. DMX had 15 kids.
