DEAD BODY FOUND IN LAKE WYLIE, BELIEVED TO BE MISSING WOMAN

On Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 5:45 p.m., 911 received a call stating that a person was floating in Lake Wylie at the Buster Boyd Bridge near Charlotte, NC. The 911 caller advised that he was in a boat when he spotted the victim. Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Lake Wylie Boat Patrol as well as the Charlotte-Fire Department responded to the scene.

The victim has been pronounced deceased.

At this point it is unknown who the victim is, but Vatsla’s Mercedes Benz was found parked in a parking lot on Lake Wylie on March 22nd. Vatsla went missing just days earlier.
