28-year-old Sarah Riggins clearly does not look like the typical sex offender, but she is indeed a convicted sex offender. And Sarah was arrested on Aug 3, 2018 for failing to register her new address. State and Federal laws require sex offenders to report their addresses to officials.
You may be wondering why a woman like Sarah is a sex offender, well here is the answer.
In October 2015 Sarah was arrested for having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy. This incident occurred on Hathaway Hills Drive in Charlotte. The actual relationship occurred between June 2015 and July 2015. Sarah was charged with Child Sexual Assault and Indecent Liberties with a Child.
Sarah was eventually convicted of her crimes in local court, and as a result was forced to register as a sex offender.
But, Sarah failed to register her new address in the sex offender registry. Local officials discovered that Sarah was not living at her registered address and warrants were filed for her arrest.
Law enforcement tracked Sarah down and arrested her for Failing to Report New Address as Sex Offender.
