Janyah was found dead in apartments due for demolition, she had a infant daughter
20-year-old Janyah Smallwood was found dead on October 28, 2022 in Charlotte, NC. A balloon release is scheduled for her on November 4, 2022.
Janyah had a 2-year-old daughter. In the early morning Janyah was found dead at abandoned apartments on Norris Ave. The smell of a dead body led to police being called to the location.
Cops found Janyah in the dilapidated apartments dead. There is still no word on the cause of death.
The apartments are set to be demolished. A balloon release celebration of life ceremony is scheduled for Janyah on November 4, 2022 in Gastonia, NC at 6:00 pm.
Janyah’s funeral arrangements are still being made.
