Zion Garcia was shot and killed on August 21, 2020 on Firelight Lane Charlotte, NC at an apartment complex. A shooting erupted at the apartment complex in east Charlotte. Zion was the victim that was shot. Zion had an active street music career.
Friends of Zion hurriedly drove him to the Valero convenience store on Albemarle Road to get him help. They likely saw an ambulance close to the gas station. Paramedics arrived and took Zion to the hospital, but unfortunately he died.
There are no suspects at the moment, but active leads are being followed and cell phones are being examined.
