APARTMENT COMPLEX ARSON SUSPECT ARRESTED

Rickey McClurkin, 31, has been identified as a arson suspect in the intentionally set fire at the Hunter’s Pointe Apartments located on Prosprect Drive Charlotte, NC.

On April 7 at 4:36 a.m., there was a structure fire at the apartments. An apartment building was on fire with flames through the roof. The Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force determined that the fire had been intentionally set. The fire was estimated to have caused more than $75,000 dollars in damage.

On April 9 Rickey was arrested and charged with first degree arson and second degree burglary.

A fire was intentionally set at the same apartment complex in March 2019.
