ANGRY EX-BOYFRIEND SHOOTS AT EX-GIRLFRIEND AND HER FOUR KIDS

Without further ado Meet Kendrick Piggie, 29.

Kendrick rammed his ex-girlfriends vehicle several times and then shot at her and her four children. All of this happened on police precinct property.

On February 19, 2019, at 9:56 a.m. in Charlotte, NC on North Sharon Amity Road, a woman’s ex-boyfriend identified as Kendrick Piggie, followed her and struck her vehicle multiple times.

Once the female victim pulled into a nearby police branch parking lot, Kendrick struck her vehicle again, and fired shots at the victims before fleeing the scene.

The victim and her four children were not injured during the shooting. Officers located the victims in a vehicle outside of the police office parking lot with heavy damage.
Kendrick left the parking lot and crashed his vehicle nearby and fled the scene on foot.

With the assistance of K-9, officers located and arrested Kendrick. He was transported to Atrium Health with minor injuries sustained in the crash and was interrogated by division detectives.

At the conclusion of the interrogation, Kendrick was charged with Attempted Murder, 5 counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, 4 counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon in the Presence of a Minor, Communicating Threats, Firearm by Felon, and 5 counts of Shooting into an Occupied Conveyance.
