$841,000 IN COCAINE AND METH HIDDEN ON BUS

U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized hard narcotics that totaled over $841,000 in street value on March 6, 2022 at the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge in Laredo, Texas. 

A commercial bus was making entry into the USA from Mexico. The bus was driven by a 52-year-old male Mexican citizen. Following a canine and non intrusive imaging system examination, Customs and Border Protection officers discovered a total of 64.48 pounds of cocaine and 17.19 pounds of methamphetamine concealed within the bus.

The methamphetamine and cocaine have a combined street value of $841,167.

Officers seized the narcotics and the bus. The driver was arrested, and the case was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Homeland Security Investigations special agents for further investigation.
