A 3-year-old child was shot while in the custody of Davione Robinson, 19. Davione also had cocaine in the presence of the young child, in which he was arrested for.
On March 8, 2019 Davione and the child were at a motel on Old Interstate Road at 8pm. The 3-year-old victim found a unsecured firearm and accidentally fired the weapon, shooting their self. The 3-year-old was transported by medics to the hospital with non-life-threatening graze wounds.
Davione was arrested and charged with Felony Child Abuse, Storing a Firearm in a Manner Accessible to a Minor, Felony Possession of Cocaine and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
It is unclear what the relationship is between Davione and the child.
