2 MEN KILLED WITHIN HOURS, ONE ON NORTH TRYON STREET IN EARLY MORNING HOURS

A male victim was killed in a shooting on North Tryon St. Charlotte, NC. Shortly before 2:30 a.m., on April 15, 2021, officers responded to reports of a disturbance 911 call. When officers arrived they located one male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. 

The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by medic. Another man identified as 25-year-old Demontravis Reid was shot and killed on April 14, 2021 around midnight, just hours before the second murder.
