2 ARRESTED AFTER SHOOTOUT ON WEST BOULEVARD IN PARKING LOT OF GAS STATION

Date:

Jordan Wilson, 19, and Antonio Springs, 21, were arrested after a brutal shootout on February 17, 2021 at the intersection of West Boulevard and Remount Road Charlotte, NC. Jordan was seriously hurt from the shooting.

The shooting was in a gas station parking lot. Around 11 p.m. an officer on patrol witnessed a shootout.

The officer heard and saw several gunshots. He quickly located the source in the parking lot of the gas station where he witnessed the active exchange of gunfire allegedly between Jordan and Antonio.

Antonio fled the scene in a vehicle, but was detained soon afterwards. Antonio was found to be uninjured despite his vehicle having been struck by gunfire nearly a dozen times.

Back at the initial scene, other officers requested paramedics who transported Jordan to the hospital due to a serious gunshot wound. Officers, detectives, and the crime scene search team began to conduct the investigation and collect multiple shell casings and other physical evidence.

Detectives say Jordan was the primary aggressor; therefore once he is released from the hospital, he will be served arrest warrants for assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill, possession of a stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and damage to property.

Antonio has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
