$1 MILLION LOTTERY TICKET SOLD IN WEST CHARLOTTE ON 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND

On July 3, 2021 a Mega Millions lottery drawing produced a $1 million prize for a very fortunate person. 

The winner bought the ticket at the 7-Eleven store on Freedom Drive Charlotte, NC.

The $2 ticket matched the numbers on all five white balls, 8-31-32-34-45, to win the $1 million prize. The odds of matching all five white balls in a drawing are 1 in 12.6 million. The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.

No one won the Mega Millions jackpot so it will increase to $82 million as an annuity or $57.7 million as a lump sum for the next drawing. The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302.5 million.

Many people in Charlotte have won the lottery in 2021. 

Timiaya Ellison won $1.05 million at the Circle K gas station on University Boulevard Charlotte, NC while playing the lottery.

Shane Hypio won $1 million at the Quick Trip gas station on Monroe Road.

Alvin Livingston won $696,227 in the Cash 5 lottery jackpot at the Quik Trip gas station on Central Avenue.
