On October 15, 2020 two undocumented immigrants were found hiding in a car trunk in an attempt to live in the U.S.A.
A sedan approached the primary inspection lane of the I-35 checkpoint. During an inspection of the vehicle, agents discovered two individuals in the trunk without any Coronavirus personal protective equipment.
All of the individuals were determined to be illegally present in the United States from the countries of Mexico and Honduras. They were medically evaluated and did not exhibit any signs of illness.
The driver and a front seat passenger were all U.S. citizens. Border Patrol seized the vehicles.
