U.S. Border Patrol and the Webb County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a large group of illegal immigrants at a stash house in Laredo, Texas.
The incident began during the mid afternoon of July 24, 2020 when the sheriff’s office requested assistance from agents regarding a possible stash house. Agents conducted an immigration inspection at the residence and discovered 26 individuals in the United States illegally.
The stash house had chipped molded walls with holes in them. The air circulation was poor and the floors were damaged.
All of the individuals were from the country of Mexico and taken into custody pending investigation.
