MIXED NARCOTICS WORTH OVER $737,000 FOUND IN CAR

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Del Rio Port of Entry seized mixed narcotics worth $737,117 in Del Rio, Texas on April 23, 2022.

Border Patrol agents were at the port of entry when a passenger vehicle driven by a male U.S. citizen arrived from Mexico. Officers searched the vehicle and after conducting a thorough examination, officers seized 21 packages containing 30.60 pounds of methamphetamine and six packages containing 16.22 pounds of cocaine concealed within the vehicle.

The narcotics have an estimated street value of $737,117.

The narcotics and vehicle were seized by officers. The driver was arrested, and the case was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Homeland Security Investigations special agents for further investigation.
