MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES ON I-95

Orlando Lopez, 43, was arrested and charged with several counts of drug trafficking charges in Robeson County North Carolina. It appears he wanted a slice of the drug market.

On Friday, June 28, 2019 around 9:00 pm Robeson County Sheriff’s Office investigators stopped Lopez in a 2019 Nissan Rogue traveling on Interstate 95 near the northbound 6 mile marker for a traffic violation.

During the traffic stop, 98 grams of cocaine and 35 grams of methamphetamine was allegedly located inside of the vehicle.

Lopez is charged with two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, two counts of trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a scheduled II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lopez was placed into the custody of the Robeson County Detention Center with a $250,000 secured bond.
