DRUG DEALER SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON

Nathaniel Steele, 45, received 10 years in federal prison on January 21, 2021 for drug trafficking and gun charges.

Steele was selling narcotics out of his residence in Charlotte, NC. On June 14, 2019 a search warrant was executed at Steele’s residence, where fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine were recovered.

Police also seized a firearm and a loaded high-capacity magazine. Steele has a prior federal firearm conviction and he is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.

In October 2020 Steele pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
