Date:

In July 2023 Allen Plowden, 38, was sentenced to 151 months in prison followed by six years of supervised release for cocaine distribution and illegal firearm possession in Charlotte, NC.

In May 2020 law enforcement initiated an investigation into Allen after receiving information from a snitch that he was distributing narcotics in Charlotte.

On September 27, 2020, cops executed a search warrant at Allen’s residence, seizing cocaine, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and other items consistent with drug distribution.

Law enforcement also seized $40,000 in drug proceeds and 16 illegal firearms, some of which had been reported stolen. Allen was arrested and charged with various drug trafficking crimes.

On October 25, 2021, Allen pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

At his court hearing, Allen’s sentence was enhanced due to his classification as a “Career Offender” based on multiple prior convictions, including robbery and distribution/manufacture of cocaine base and distribution of a controlled substance near a school.
