ALLEGED DRUG DEALER HAD $500,000 CASH AND COCAINE IN SUITCASE

Date:

Louis Younglove Sr., 57, is the owner of Chi-Town Chicago Italian Beef & Hot Dogs in Pompano Beach, FL. Louis is now facing charges on multiple drug trafficking counts after $500,000 in cash was allegedly found at his house.

Louis was arrested on February 4, 2021 in the parking lot of his Florida restaurant.

He was pulled over in the parking lot of Chi-Town Chicago Italian Beef & Hot Dogs. During the traffic stop a duffel bag containing cocaine, fentanyl, ecstasy, marijuana, xanax, oxycontin, and various prescription drugs were allegedly found within the vehicle Louis was in.

Also detectives say $18,000 in cash was found. Promptly after the traffic stop, detectives served a search warrant at Louis’ home where $500,000 in cash was found within a suitcase, Florida officials say.

Boward County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Andrea Tianga says:

“This was not like your average street supplier who maybe sold a couple of bags of cocaine on the side. This was a systematic operation to distribute a lot of narcotics. Louis had a lot of cash. This was not normal for your average street sale. This was a huge operation.”
