What would you do if you found 7 bricks of fresh cocaine at Marriott hotel?
Reminiscent of the movie ‘Next Day Air’, a hotel housekeeper found hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cocaine in a room at the Marriott Center City Hotel located at 100 W Trade St. Charlotte, NC on August 19, 2018.

The hotel housekeeper discovered the expensive drugs in a hotel room while cleaning the room, which sparked a police investigation.
The housekeeper was putting a Bible in a drawer, which is where she discovered the cocaine. At that moment the housekeeper saw seven blocks of cocaine wrapped in dark plastic.
The blocks had some white residue on the outside. The housekeeper notified hotel security, and police were called.
There were 3 men staying in the room, and while police officers were talking to hotel security in the lobby, one of the room’s residents walked into the hotel. But when he saw the police, he turned and left the hotel.
CMPD has refused to give an update on the case, including whether there have been any arrests.
