$665,000 IN METHAMPHETAMINE

U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations at the Hidalgo International Bridge arrested a man in Hidalgo, Texas on methamphetamine trafficking charges.

In March 2020 officers referred a 39-year-old man from Reynosa, Mexico and the blue Chrysler 200 he was driving for a secondary examination. Officers conducting the inspection located 17 packages weighing 33.29 pounds of methamphetamine concealed within the vehicle. The narcotics have a street value of $665,800.

The man was arrested and all the narcotics were seized along with the vehicles.
