$332,000 OF MARIJUANA FOUND AFTER CAR ACCIDENT

Border Patrol agents stopped a narcotics smuggling attempt in Laredo Texas on June 12, 2021 during a car accident. The marijuana was worth over $332,000.

The incident occurred in the morning when agents responded to an alert of a suspicious gray truck. The truck eventually collided with a blue sedan. 

Responding agents located the truck and the occupants ran from the vehicle and were not located. 

Fortunately, the driver of the blue sedan did not require medical attention.

Agents found 3 bundles of marijuana in the bed of the truck and 2 bundles of marijuana inside the passenger compartment. The five bundles of marijuana had an value of $332,340. 

The contraband was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration. The vehicle was seized by Border Patrol.
