$3 MILLION IN METH DISCOVERED AT WORLD TRADE BRIDGE

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers this week intercepted a large size methamphetamine load with an estimated street value of more than $3 million in one enforcement action at the World Trade Bridge in Texas.

The seizure occurred on Saturday, April 27 at the World Trade Bridge officer referred a 2002 Freightliner tractor hauling a flatbed trailer with a manifested shipment of marble stone for a secondary examination. After conducting both a canine and non-intrusive imaging system inspection, officers discovered a total of 220.5 pounds of alleged methamphetamine. The narcotics have an estimated street value of $3,086,440.

Officers seized the narcotics and the trailer.
