A man was shot in uptown Charlotte, NC on South College Street on September 30, 2019 in the late afternoon.
The victim was found in the street with an apparent gunshot wound. Medics and the Charlotte Fire Department arrived almost immediately due to their close proximity while attending to an unrelated fire call down the street and began providing first aid.
The victim was transported to Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
