MAN DIES IN MOTORCYCLE WRECK THAT CAUGHT FIRE, VEHICLE COLLISION

22-year-old Reginald Page was killed on September 4, 2020 at 8:28 p.m. on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC during a motorcycle wreck.

Reginald was riding a motorcycle when he struck a car that was leaving a parking lot. After the impact the motorcycle inadvertently continued to travel a short distance before stopping and becoming engulfed in fire. The car was being driven by a 15-yr-old female who was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Reginald was found unresponsive in the roadway. He was transported to Atrium Health Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The female juvenile driver was screened for impairment and none was detected. She did not have a driver’s license. A juvenile arrest was completed for the license offense and she was released to a guardian.
