Noelle Blount and, 38, and Gregory Moffitt, 36, were arrested of November 27, 2019 charged with the murder of Askia Toure Abdullah Alkebulan at the La Casa gaming facility.
On November 26, 2019, at around 5:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at La Casa located at 5820 East WT Harris Boulevard Charlotte, NC.
When they arrived, they located Mr. Alkebulan who had been shot. The victim, who is an employee of La Casa was transported to the hospital by medic where he was later pronounced deceased.
