On Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 2:41 a.m., a single vehicle crash occurred at 1880 Brookshire Boulevard.

A 2019 Audi Q5 was being driven at a high rate of speed northwest on Brookshire Boulevard when it left the roadway to the left, entered the grass median and flipped. The Audi was occupied by a driver and 3 passengers, none of which were wearing seat belts.

All occupants were ejected from the vehicle on impact. Christian was pronounced deceased on scene by medics. The car caught fire. The remaining occupants were transported to Atrium Health’s Carolina’s Medical Center, two of which are in critical condition.
