Judge Kathleen A. Ryan was arrested in November 2021 charged with domestic assault and battery on her boyfriend. Kathleen is a judge in Oakland County, Michigan.
A 911 call was made on November 24, 2021 in the afternoon alleging that Judge Ryan committed assault and battery against a man with whom she had a dating relationship with in Oakland County.
The man had minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene, police said. The judge was arrested.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged Judge Ryan with one count of domestic assault and battery. She was arraigned on the charge and released on personal bond with release conditions consistent with the offense for which she was charged.
Judge Ryan was elected as a probate judge in 2010.
