29-year-old Octavis Wilson is charged with rape. He was arrested on November 5, 2022. A woman was raped on Glenwood Drive Charlotte, NC.
On Saturday, November 5, 2022, shortly after 2:00 a.m., a sexual assault 911 call was made. A female victim advised that she was walking home on Glenwood Drive around 11:30 pm when she was approached by an unknown suspect.
After initiating a short conversation a suspect attacked the female victim by physically assaulting her.
The woman was forced to a nearby location where she was then sexually assaulted and raped, the suspect fled. Officers responded to the scene once the female called 911. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital.

Just before 5 p.m. on November 5th cops were patrolling the area and located an individual matching the suspect’s description.
Octavis was arrested and transported to the Mecklenburg County Jail.
Octavis is charged with first degree kidnapping, second degree forcible rape, attempted second degree forcible sexual offense, assault on a female, and sexual battery.
