On February 10, 2023 a woman’s car was stolen by two black teenage girls on Youngblood Street Charlotte, NC at an apartment complex.
A female victim was parking her 2018 Toyota Yaris iA car at the apartment complex when the 2 teenage girls approached her and asked for a ride around 10 p.m.
The victim said no, because she was there to visit a friend. The female suspects then said they were hungry and cold and needed a Uber.
The friendly victim assumed the girls were nice and innocent, so she invited the suspects up to the apartment for hot cocoa.
The suspects came into the apartment. The victim and her friend then ordered a Uber for the suspects.
At some point the suspects took the car keys of the victim after she sat them down on a table. When the Uber arrived, the female suspects ran out the back door and they never got in the Uber.
After the suspects left, the victim discovered her keys were missing. The victim then went outside to look for her car, and it was gone.
The female suspects are still on the run with the vehicle. No arrests or positive identities have been made.
