CIRCLE K SECURITY GUARD ARRESTED CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING WOMAN AT THE GAS STATION ON DUTY

A security guard at Circle K is accused of slamming a woman’s leg in a car door, the guard was arrested and circled his way into jail lockup

Clayton Douglas, 37, worked at the Circle K on Charlottetowne Ave. Charlotte, NC as a security guard. Clayton was arrested in 2026 accused of assaulting a woman on the Circle K property.

The female victim had a disagreement with the store manager about purchasing cigars for another customer. The manager stated the woman would be banned from the property.

The security guard Clayton approached the woman in the parking lot and was attempting to escort her to her vehicle and off the property. Clayton is accused of pushing the woman into her vehicle and then shutting the door on the woman’s leg.

The woman called 911 to report the assault. Clayton was arrested after police reviewed camera footage. Clayton is charged with assault on female.
