Patrice Bass was in the middle of divorce, she was dead and naked at the beach after falling from balcony
Patrice Jones Bass, 40, died on May 17, 2026 after falling from a balcony at the beach in Oak Island, NC. Patrice had 3 children and was going through a divorce. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Patrice was on vacation with family and friends. She went out for drinks and dinner. She then returned to her condo room on the 4th floor. At some point during the night Patrice went to her 4th floor balcony. It is believed she was disoriented and naked. Patrice fell from the balcony and landed by a swimming pool.
A lot of blood poured from Patrice’s dead body. Patrice had bruises on her face, she also had splattered body parts. Patrice laid dead and naked on the ground for an hour before someone saw her and called EMS. Eight police officers from the Oak Island Police Department responded to the 911 call.
At this time the death has not been labeled as a homicide, but an investigation is still going on.
