Yazmen died from unexpected causes, likely a medical issue. Yazmen had many friends and family. It appears she went to grade school and college in Charlotte. Yazmen went to Johnson C. Smith University, it is unknown if she graduated.
She went to Rocky River High School and graduated. Rocky River High School has had a lot of violence at the school. Many students at Rocky River have ended up dead from wrecks, shot, or murdered, some teachers have been arrested at the school accused of sexual contact with students.
Yazmen is the second Johnson C. Smith University student/alumni to die within a month. A football player at Johnson C. Smith University died on Christmas Eve.
No foul play is suspected in Yazmen’s death. Yazmen had a funeral on Valentine’s Day 2026. A spaghetti dinner was served in her honor, perhaps her favorite food.
