Child sex crimes occur often in Charlotte
Ismael Gonzalez Gomez, 34, was arrested on September 14, 2025 accused of sexually assaulting his 14-year-old step-daughter at apartments on Central Ave. Charlotte, NC.
On September 14, 2025 the victim’s mother walked in the bedroom and found Ismael in bed with her teen daughter. Ismael was married to the victim’s mother.
The wife saw Ismael’s mouth on her daughter’s chest and his hands moving around within her garments, particularly her pants.
The mother screamed and immediately called police. A detective responded to the incident location and conducted a fact finding interview with the teen girl.
The victim advised that the suspect came into her room this morning and began touching her body. She
advised he then put his mouth on her chest and touched her private area mid section.
The girl told him to stop. Ismael was arrested, he refused to talk to police or go into interrogation.
Ismael was charged with child sexual offense and indecent liberties with minors.
