Rashonda Greene sung in the gospel choir, now she is dead from a drunk driver in a Dodge Charger
45-year-old Rashonda Greene was killed on June 16, 2025 in Gastonia, NC during a DWI crash. Logan Taylor, 21, is accused of driving drunk in the collision that killed Rashonda. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Rashonda graduated from West Charlotte High School in the 1990’s and she was in the gospel choir at the school.

At 10 p.m. on June 16th Logan was driving a 2016 Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed with his headlights off. Logan ran a red light at the intersection and hit a red Hyundai Elantra driven by Rashonda. Logan’s teenage brother was a passenger in the Dodge Charger.
A vast number of West Charlotte graduates have been killed lately.
Rashonda was killed on impact. Police say that both speed and alcohol contributed to the crash. Logan and his brother were injured. Both of them sustained life threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Upon Logan’s release from the hospital he will be charged with felony death by motor vehicle, driving while impaired, failing to stop at a steady red signal, and reckless driving.
Rashonda was very active in church, she was even baptized in a lake. Dodge Chargers are very popular and they make the news a lot.
