$19,000 TAKEN IN FOOD LION ROBBERY, MAN SENT TO PRISON

Date:

These three men got a quick payday when they allegedly robbed a Food Lion grocery store in Charlotte, NC making off with nearly $19,000 cash.

Nathan Jones, 23, (Top) pled guilty this week to robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was sentenced to 38-58 months in prison.

His co-conspirators Carl Perry, 24, (Left) and Ebbe Perry, 24, (Right) have not been convicted yet and are still awaiting trial.

In October 2017 at 10:51 pm the three men allegedly robbed the Food Lion Supermarket on 1704 Harris Houston Rd.

Prosecutors say the suspects entered the business through the front door and displayed handguns. The suspects then forced three employees to the central location where money was kept and took the money totaling $18,918. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.

After days of investigation, cops were able to make an arrest on Nathan, but Carl and Ebbe weren’t arrested until months later.
