28-year-old Jacop Hazlett was arrested for at least nine counts of child sexual assault charges.
Jacop volunteered at Elevation Church in Lake Norman, North Carolina as a youth leader from 2014-2018.
Jacop was recently arrested by police in North Charleston last month standing accused of molesting at least 14 young children at New Spring Church.
Jacop is also named in a civil lawsuit that claims he recorded video of himself sexually assaulting a 3-year-old in a church bathroom.
In 2015 Elevation Church moved Jacop from the kids clubhouse program to an administrative volunteer role after campus leadership felt uneasy with how he interacted with supervised children.
