Genis Pegues, 22, (Seen here) was arrested for breaking into numerous vehicles in south Charlotte.
On January 31 at approximately 5 in the morning, officers responded to Cartgate Lane in reference to someone breaking into vehicles in the area.
When officers arrived, they located Genis nearby, he matched the description of the suspect provided by a 911 caller.
Officers located several items on Genis which belonged to victims of the motor vehicles that were broken into.
Genis was subsequently arrested and charged with nine counts of breaking into a motor vehicle and two counts of misdemeanor larceny.
