On May 5 at 10:22 p.m., three male suspects robbed the AIA Arcade at gunpoint. The business is located at 5622 E. Independence Boulevard Charlotte, NC. At least one of the suspects was armed with a firearm.
As the suspects left the business and were in the parking lot, shots were fired between the suspects and a security guard employed by the business. One of the robbery suspects was hit by gunfire; the Security Guard was not injured.
The suspect who was shot was later dropped off at a hospital by an unknown individual(s) where he is being treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The other two suspects have not been located.
