MAN CHARGED IN MURDER OF WOMAN AT EXTENDED STAY MOTEL

23-year-old Khdaius Marshall was arrested today and charged with the murder of Tyrena Inman, 30.

Tyrena’s homicide occurred on April 28, 2019 at the Extended Stay America motel on 710 Yorkmont Road Charlotte, NC.

A shooting transpired at the motel, Tyrena and an adult male were both shot. Tyrena was located inside the motel room and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

The investigation pointed to Khdaius as a suspect and warrants were issued for his arrest. On May 15, 2019, Khdaius was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was interviewed by Homicide Unit detectives. At the conclusion of the interview, Khdaius was transported jail and charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

This isn’t the first time Khdaius has been arrested either, he was accused of robbing a white woman at an Extended Stay America motel in February.
