Date:

Licensed Massage Therapist Eric Stewart, 30, worked out of Zen Massage on 1021 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC. Eric inappropriately touched women during massages and he had a pattern of abusive behavior towards women. Zen Massage looks like a house from the outside, based off of online photos.

In January 2016, a victim went to Zen Massage. As Eric performed the massage, he inappropriately touched the victim. Eric was arrested.

Over three years later Eric’s trial began in May 2019. At trial, three additional women testified before the jury about experiences of inappropriate touching by Eric during massages, establishing his pattern of abusive behavior toward women.

The jury found Eric guilty of sexual battery. Eric was sentenced to 60 days in jail; that sentence was suspended pending his successful completion of 24 months of supervised probation.

As a condition of his probation, Eric must serve 15 days in jail, he must also register as a sex offender for 30 years and surrender his massage therapy license.
